Baby room update!

Big progress over here in baby land. What used to be a very normal, very beige guest room has officially transformed into a real baby room, and I am *obsessed*. Walls are painted, the vibe is coming together, and somehow it already feels like a space meant for tiny giggles and late-night snuggles.

Huge, enormous, can’t-thank-you-enough shoutout to Molly and Ashley, who truly carried this project on their backs. They painted, designed, gave opinions, made decisions, and basically turned my vague “I want it to feel cozy and magical?” into an actual room. I mostly stood there offering moral support and snacks.

We have bought the crib, which makes everything feel very real. Like… there is going to be a baby sleeping in there soon. Wild.

I also learned something important about myself during this process: I may be slightly color blind. Apparently there are *differences* between shades of brown. Who knew. I genuinely thought two of the colors for the closet were identical, but apparently one is “more orange” and the other is “more yellow.” I simply do not see it. I now fully accept that I am not the person to ask if something is warm or cool toned, and that is okay. This is why I have talented friends.

The room is almost done, and it already feels so special. I can’t wait to share the finished space soon and even more excited for the tiny human who gets to call it home!
